Effective Date: 18 January 2026
Precision BI Solutions ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the FlexiPivot Power BI custom visual ("Visual") handles data and what information, if any, is collected during your use of the Visual.
1. Information We Collect
Data Processed by the Visual
The Visual processes data that you provide through Microsoft Power BI. This data is used solely to render pivot tables and charts within your Power BI reports.
**Important:** All data processing occurs entirely within your Power BI environment (Power BI Desktop or Power BI Service). We do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to any of your data.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
- Personal information (names, email addresses, etc.)
- Business data displayed in the Visual
- Usage analytics or telemetry
- Cookies or tracking identifiers
- Location data
- Device information
2. How We Use Information
Since we do not collect any data from your use of the Visual, there is no data for us to use, share, or process.
The Visual operates as a client-side component within Power BI and does not communicate with any external servers operated by Precision BI Solutions.
3. Data Storage
We do not store any data. All data remains within your Power BI environment and is subject to Microsoft's data handling practices and your organization's Power BI configuration.
For information about how Microsoft handles data in Power BI, please refer to:
- [Microsoft Privacy Statement](https://privacy.microsoft.com/)
- [Power BI Security Documentation](https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/guidance/whitepaper-powerbi-security)
4. Third-Party Services
The Visual does not integrate with or transmit data to any third-party services. All functionality is self-contained within the Power BI environment.
The Visual uses the following open-source libraries, which operate entirely client-side:
- React (UI framework)
- Plotly.js (charting library)
- react-pivottable (pivot table functionality)
- D3.js (data visualization utilities)
None of these libraries collect or transmit data externally.
5. Licensing Information
License validation for the Visual is handled through Microsoft AppSource and Power BI's built-in licensing mechanisms. We do not independently verify licenses or collect licensing-related data.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
7. Your Rights
Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no personal data for you to access, correct, or delete. Your data remains entirely within your control through Microsoft Power BI.
If you have concerns about data within Power BI, please contact your Power BI administrator or refer to Microsoft's privacy documentation.
